ALIKI DRAKOULIPRESIDENT
Aliki Drakouli holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, in Greece. She also holds an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan. She has served as the Director of Development and Finance at an Advertising Agency since 2007. She has broad Experience in International Economics, Marketing and Operations. The last five years she is involved in Axion Hellas. Together with the Educational and Cultural team support vulnerable groups living in remote and inaccessible areas of Greek islands and the mainland.
SERGIOS ARNIAKOSVICE PRESIDENT A
Sergios Arniakos is an executive at Latsco Shipping Limited. He has worked in various management positions in the shipping industry. Sergios started his career in the financial sector, in London and Athens, holding the position of Head of Derivatives Trading. He has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, an MSc in Marine Engineering from University College London and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School. He is a founding member of Axion Hellas,was a member of the first board of directors, an alternate member of the second board of directors and he is actively participating in missions in the Aegean and the Ionian Sea.
LAMBRINI KORDATOUVICE PRESIDENT B
Lamprini Kordatou has a Nursing degree and upon her graduation, she has been working in the health sector. Since 2016, she has been the Head of the Breast Center of the Euroclinic Group and for the last two years she has been the Head of the High Specialty Centers Point 2 of the Euroclinic Group.Since the foundation of Axion Hellas, she has been an active participant and volunteer. She is also an active member of the Hellenic Cancer Society.
DOROTHEOS SAMOLADASGENERAL SECRETARY
Ο Δωρόθεος Σαμολάδας είναι δικηγόρος στο πεδίο του δικαίου επιχειρήσεων, διευθύνων εταίρος της δικηγορικής εταιρείας “Σαραντίτης”. Είναι απόφοιτος της Νομικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές (LL.M.) στο University of Southampton (UK). Έχει ευρεία δραστηριότητα και εμπειρία σε θέματα επιχειρήσεων, τόσο ως νομικός όσο και ως μέλος διοίκησης εταιρειών. Κατατάσσεται ανάμεσα στους προτεινόμενους Έλληνες δικηγόρους δικαίου επιχειρήσεων, από όλους τους μεγάλους διεθνείς νομικούς καταλόγους (Chambers, Legal500, BestLawyers). Σύμφωνα με έρευνα του BestLawyers.com, επιλέχθηκε από τους συναδέλφους του, ως δικηγόρος της χρονιάς 2013 για την Αθήνα, στον τομέα των Συγχωνεύσεων & Εξαγορών.

KYRIAKI (SANDY) KORMABOARD MEMBER
Kyriaki(Sandy) Korma is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens. She specialized in Pediatrics at the First University Clinic of the Children's Hospital Agia Sofia, where she worked for four years under the guidance of Professor George Chrousos. She has a rich clinical background, spanning over twenty years, with the last fourteen years spent at the MITERA Hospital as a Consultant of the Pediatric Clinic. She is also involved in volunteering and charitable activities since 2013, with a focus on supporting remote areas in Greece. In this context, she was one of the founding members of Axion Hellas, actively contributing to its successful operation and development. From 2021 to 2023, she served as the President of the Board of Directors of Axion Hellas.
GIORGOS KIRKENIDISBOARD MEMBER
Είναι Μηχανολόγος Μηχανικός με εξειδίκευση στην διαχείριση ενέργειας και την αυτοματοποιημένη διαχείριση κτιρίων. Από το 2011 είναι Πιστοποιημένος Ενεργειακός Επιθεωρητής. Το 1997 έως 1999, συμετειχε ως Project manager για την κατασκευή δύο ιδιωτικών, υδροηλεκτρικών σταθμων. Από το 1999 έως και σήμερα, συμμετέχει ως Project manager για την υλοποίηση κατασκευής κτιριακών έργων. Είναι ένα από τα ιδρυτικά μέλη της Axion Hellas και συμμετέχει εθελοντικά για την διαχείριση των logistics και την υλοποίηση των έργων υποδομής.
MARIA ZIOUVELOUALTERNATE MEMBER
H Μαρία Ζιούβελου είναι κάτοχος πτυχίου (BSc) στο αντικείμενο Physics with Laser Technology, και μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου (MSc) στο αντικείμενο Physics of Optical Communications από το Essex University στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Από το 2016 είναι Director of Clients & Industries, Brand & Communications και CSR για τη Deloitte Ελλάδος. Διαθέτει μεγάλη εμπειρία στη ψηφιακή και επιχειρηματική ανάπτυξη. Στη διάρκεια των 20 χρόνων της επαγγελματικής της εμπειρίας έχει εργαστεί σε 4 Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες. Στην Philips Semiconductors στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και στην Ολλανδία, στην Texas Instruments στη Γαλλία και στη Velti και Wappier στην Ελλάδα.
EFSTRATIOS APERGISALTERNATE MEMBER
Efstratios Apergis is a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Patras, School of Computer Engineering and Informatics. With over 30 years of work experience, he is a co-founder and CEO of Newsphone Hellas, a company that provides several well-known services such as 11880 telephone directory service, the online professional directory www.vrisko.gr, and numerous other projects, including the development, operation and the interconnection service of Citizen Service Centers (KEP) on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior, from 2002 to 2009, as well as many other projects.
Since 2014, he has been a co-founder of Levante Ferries, a maritime company (www.levanteferries.gr) that operates in the southern Ionian Islands, connecting the islands of Zakynthos, Kefalonia, and Ithaca with the ports of Kyllini and Patras. The company has been awarded as the "Best Passenger Company in Greece for the years 2019 & 2022."
He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and since 2021 he has been elected Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Passenger Shipping Companies (SEEN). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping (ΝΕΕ), representing the Coastal Ferry sector.
HRH PRINCE NIKOLAOSSPECIAL BOARD ADVISOR
Ο Πρίγκιπας Νικόλαος είναι απόφοιτος Διεθνών Σχέσεων από το πανεπιστήμιο BrownUniversity των Η.Π.Α. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του, υπηρέτησε για ένα έτος στον Βρετανικό Στρατό, ως ανθυπολοχαγός του συντάγματος Συντάγματος Ιππικού, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Έχει εκτεταμένη εμπειρία στον τραπεζικό τομέα όσο και στον τομέα των επικοινωνιών, καθώς και στη συμβουλευτική επιχειρήσεων. Τα τελευταία χρόνια έχει αφιερωθεί στη φωτογραφία, πραγματοποιώντας εκθέσεις φωτογραφίας στο Λονδίνο, την Ντόχα και τη Μελβούρνη. Ο Πρίγκιπας Νικόλαος είναι μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Knightsbridge Schools International, το οποίο ιδρύθηκε το 2008 για να αναπτύξει και να λειτουργήσει ένα δίκτυο διεθνών σχολείων σε όλο τον κόσμο. Αποτελεί ενεργό μέλος της Axion Hellas από τη στιγμή της ίδρυσής της.
EFFIE STRATAKISSPECIAL BOARD ADVISOR
H Έφφη Στρατάκη έχει πτυχίο Ψυχολογίας από το Amherst College στη Μασαχουσέτη και MBA από το London Business School. Από την αποφοίτησή της και μετά, εργάζεται στην οικογενειακή επιχείρηση όπου είναι υπεύθυνη Εταιρικής Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης της εταιρείας. Συνεχίζει επίσης να εργάζεται ως σύμβουλος επενδύσεων στο οικογενειακό γραφείο, με έμφαση στην Angel Investing.
Παράλληλα, η Έφφη είναι στο διοικητικό συμβούλιο και ενεργό μέλος του Ιδρύματος Δεσμός (www.desmos.org). Από το 2012 εκπροσωπεί την οικογένειά της στο Φιλανθρωπικό Τμήμα της Ένωσης Ελλήνων Εφοπλιστών και από το 2018 συμμετέχει στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της «Συν-ένωσις», – Εταιρεία Κοινωνικής Προσφοράς Ελληνικού Εφοπλισμού (www.syn-enosis.gr). Τέλος, είναι μέλος του ΔΣ του Ελληνικού Ιδρύματος Ευρωπαϊκής και Εξωτερικής Πολιτικής – ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ.
GEORGE J SOURAVLASSPECIAL BOARD ADVISOR
George Souravlas, 60, is qualified in both Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering (BSc) from the University of Sunderland (UK). His academic background includes studies at the PhD level in Mechanical Engineering (Heat Transfer) and lecturing at the Universities of Sunderland and Newcastle for 4 years.
He is a member of the Greek Committees of the Japanese Classification Society (Class NK) and of the Korean Register (KR). He is also a member of the Greek Technical Committees of Class NK, Det Norske Veritas & Germanischer Lloyd (DNV GL), and the Italian Classification Society (RINA).
Furthermore, he was elected twice, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping (HCS), and twice as Vice President of the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association (HSSA). He is also an appointed member of BIMCO’s Advisory Panel.
Mr Souravlas, with over 25 years of experience in senior ship management, co-founded ‘Elmira Shipping and Trading S A’ in 1997 and held the position of Technical Director until 2009. During his tenure at Elmira, the company had ordered and taken delivery of several new building Bulk Carriers in Japan and had managed on a worldwide basis, a fleet comprising Dry Bulk Carriers (18), Reefer vessels (4), RO ROs (6), Crude Oil Chemical and Product tankers (11) and Multi-Purpose heavy lifters (5). Additionally, he had been responsible for the successful execution of 5 scientific expeditions with the Indian Government to the Antarctic, on a specialized ice-classed vessel. During that period, the company realized an IRR of 55% (levered) in operating returns and capital gains over two shipping cycles.
George Souravlas had also been invited to speak on several occasions at International Conferences on various operational aspects of Ship Management. He also chaired ACI’s 4th Optimising Ship Maintenance Conference which was held in Rotterdam in January 2011.
Mr Souravlas is a member of the prestigious ‘’Who is Who’’ Society in Greece, as well as of the International ‘’Who’s Who’’ Society of Professionals. Furthermore, in 2016 he was accepted as a member of the exclusive ‘’Athens Club’’ and in the same year, he became a founding member of the NPO, Axion Hellas – Supporting Society.
In September 2009, he founded ‘Load Line Marine S A’, a company that manages a fleet of 13 Handy sizes, Supramax & Ultramax high-quality Bulk Carriers that trade worldwide. The company has contracted 3 Bulkers in well-known Korean and Chinese Shipyards. Load Line Marine S A, is a value-driven company that seeks to achieve high performance in order to ensure consistently top standards in a financially, socially, and environmentally sustainable manner, while being a value-driven company with environmental responsibility as a core part of its business strategy. Load Line Marine was the Winner of the prestigious Safety Award at the 2022 Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards.
