New Partnership between Axion Hellas and HELMEPA

On September 12th, Axion Hellas President Mr. V. Patras and HELMEPA President Dr. G. Gratsos signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

 The objective is to promote the protection of the marine environment and the environment in the local communities that Axion Hellas visits in the border areas of Greece, which, due to the distance from the major urban centers, lack easy access to actions or events.

Tools for this purpose will be to organize information activities with talks and presentations to adults and children, to disseminate information material, coordinate voluntary cleansing and to promote ways in which we can all contribute to the protection of the seas.

The collaboration begins next week with the participation of HELMEPA scientific executives in our planned activities in Psara and Volissos, Chios, from 19 to 23 September.
